8th october

new £40 double chance at dtd. went to play this new tourny on monday and as i expected a pretty good turnout , 70 odd i think. had about 15 k at 150/300 which was above average had got here with no real premium hands so was doin ok. Now i get qq 3rd to act i make it 800 one caller behind and re raise all in from big blind for about 3k or so more so i jam all in and othe caller passes.cant remeber the exact flop bu it had a k a nd t on it so when i made 3 qs on three urn and river binks the j he makes the straight to sink me bk to around 10k...nothing really happend after till there was 30 odd left and i make a move which resuled in my exit. blinds 300/600 with 50 ante and i have roughly 12k i am 3rd to act utg folds and player to my right calls i put him on a weak hand so raise to 2500.....with js7h ....he calls and we see a flop of j53 all hearts.. he checks and i bet 6k he moves in and now im pot commited and i also have a heart if he doenst have one so i make the call and he flips q3 of hearts...gg me but a horendous call pre flop oout of position imo. S o moved on to the 2/2 omaha cash game wih he likes of simon trumper rob young and chinese frankie. was a lively game but never really got anyhing goin despite here bein some huge pots for a 2/2. Was waitin for the dc game to start as this is my favourite game and is where i win most of my money but it never did so i left about 2 in the morning.

sunday 4th oct

played a few plo and roe tournys on full tilt last night but other than that couldnt really be bothered to play as was feelin like shit from saturday night......Tonight im off to dtd for there new monday night £40 double chance...Should be a good comp and im expectin at least 80 runners for this.

Luton tourny report

Positive start.........played the new £40 with £20 unlimeted rebuys at the luton g last night and finished 4th. think his tourny is the best tourny around for value and structure imo...4k chips and 4k for rebuys. Two 30 min levels for rebuy period and 25 mins thereafter givin alot of play at the final. Went into the final with below average chips 35k out of 424k in play not much happened until we were 5 handed and i was down to 25k blinds 1.5k/3k ....there was 2 monster stacks about180k and 135k at this time...I push on the button with kq suited and get looked up by kj the board runs dry and i get nice double up...Then i find kk under the gun and limp guy to my left raises to 8k i pump it upto 25k. Board comes 10 high i push he calls with aq and misses his 3 outer. Dwindle down to about 90k when the button shoves for 50k at 2k/4k......i look down kj suited so i make the call and he flips 7 2 off lol...flop is A ds 6 ds and a black 2 arghhhhh turn brings nothing for me and river a 7.....so im down to 40k and shove over the top of a raise with 7s8s called by a9 off he holds and im gone in 4th for 290. 1st was 1310 not bad for a 39 runner comp which had a lot of play in it still a the final just a shame i didnt have a decent stack goin into the final as i feel i would have done better than 4th. I will be gettin to this tourny as much as i can now as i feel it will get very popular.........
